A major emergency response is currently underway following the partial collapse of a six-story building in the Bronx, New York. The incident occurred on Billingsley Terrace near Phelan Place in the Morris Heights area. The collapse, which took place around 3:30 p.m. local time, affected a corner of the building, causing significant structural damage and exposing several apartments.

Approximately 200 firefighters are on site, searching for any individuals who might be trapped under the rubble. The New York Police Department (NYPD) is also using drones to aid in the search.
