BREAKING: Biden Possibly Out of 2024 Race, Senior Advisors and Potential Candidates Operating Behind The Scenes

Read Time:1 Minute, 35 Second

There was widespread anticipation that President Joe Biden would declare his intentions to run for re-election shortly after his State of the Union address on February 7th. However, as more than two weeks have passed and no announcement has been made, a recent report on Wednesday indicated that President Biden may not be considering running for the 2024 race after all.

According to Politico, four sources familiar with the President’s thinking reported that plans to launch his campaign in February have been postponed. They added that “real-world events” have caused a delay in the final decision and now it seems that an announcement is more likely to come in April.

Although most people in Biden’s circle believe he will eventually declare his candidacy, his indecision has caused some unease in the party, with potential candidates and donors having to create alternative strategies and plans while remaining respectful and supportive of the President, who is 80 years old.

Although a re-election campaign for President Biden was previously viewed as highly probable, it seems that he has not yet made a firm decision. Politico recently reported that insiders described the President as being cautious and reflective, comparing him to the character of Hamlet from the famous Shakespearean play. These sources suggested that Biden is carefully considering the specific details of his potential final campaign, like a person standing watchfully on the banks of Delaware’s Christina River.

Additionally, the report from Politico suggested that Biden’s team may be postponing the announcement of his candidacy in order to avoid the disclosure of a disappointing fundraising total for the first quarter, which is almost at its end.

Despite this, Politico’s sources noted that Biden’s advisors have been taking steps to organize a campaign staff and have established connections with the super PAC, Future Forward. The super PAC has already broadcasted some television advertisements in support of the President’s agenda.
