No Evidence Ukraine Misuses US Assistance, Biden Admin Official Says

The head of USAID, Samantha Power, stated that there is no evidence of misuse of U.S. taxpayer dollars by Ukraine despite concerns of corruption, while announcing $2 billion in new military aid to the country. Power acknowledged Ukraine’s history of corruption but said that checks and balances and the integrity of officials were critical to her confidence in the administration of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and that the U.S. is monitoring the appropriate use of taxpayer dollars.
